Doug has joined the RE/MAX at the coast team after several years of owning his own real estate and development company. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-med from North Carolina State University. Doug earned his Real Estate license in 1984, and began working primarily in the commercial and land development field. He settled in North Myrtle Beach in 1994, when he formed his own Real Estate company, Sugar Bay Real Estate & Development. As of September 1, 2009 Doug merged his company with RE/MAX At The Coast. Scott Ellis broker-in-charge has been a friend of Doug's for more than 40 years and both feel that a joint effort can be beneficial to both real estate firms.
